Alternatively You can choose the traditional route by filling out the warranty card that you find in the package to be sent by mail. Before starting the procedure at hand keep th ewarranty card that You find in the documentation accompanying the product, or write down the serial number You find printed on the nameplate of the welding machine.

Selco products are designed, built and checked to meet the requirements and performance declared in the enclosed technical documentation.

The purchaser must carefully read the operation manual and follow all instructions and directions contained in it.

Selco S.r.l. is not responsible for negative consequences if the directions contained in the operation manual are not followed.

Selco S.r.l. guarantees correct operation of the machines and undertakes to carry out, free of charge, repair and/or replacement of faulty parts due to poor quality or manufacturing defects. The warranty does not include repairs or replacements of parts subject to normal wear.

Machines returned for repair under warranty shall be sent by the purchaser carriage free and will be returned to the purchaser carriage forward.

Warranty duration

The warranty is valid for 18 months as from the date of sale, with the exception of the torches and spare parts which have a 6-month warranty. Re-establishment of correct operation does not involve extension of the warranty duration for the finished product and/or any part or component of it.

Requirements for exercise of warranty rights

In order to benefit from the warranty, the purchaser shall send Selco S.r.l. the Warranty Certificate (coupon B or C according to the official language of the country where the machine has been sold) duly compiled in all parts, within 10 days from the date of purchase of the product; Selco S.r.l. reserves the right not to recognize the warranty if the above procedures are not observed.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not cover treatments, changes or adjustments, or damages arising there from, carried out to adapt the product to national or local safety or technical regulations in force in a country other than the one for which the product was originally designed and manufactured.

In any case, it is conventionally agreed that the warranty terms, none excluded, will be invalidated if the purchaser is not up-to-date with payments.

The warranty does not cover, furthermore: periodical checks, maintenance, repairs or replacements of parts due to normal wear, transport costs and risks connected directly and indirectly with the product warranty. The warranty also excludes and will be invalidated by damage to the product deriving from: tampering, neglect and inappropriate or negligent use, or in any case use not in compliance with the attached notes and instructions with particular reference to the conditions of use provided for by the manufacturer (including the addition of auxiliary circuits without the written approval of Selco S.r.l.), installation conflicting with the safety regulations in force in the country in which the product is used, incorrect connection to the power supply network, powering with voltages other than the one specified on the equipment and in the instruction manual, breakages caused by transport, repairs performed by non-authorized personnel, use of non-original Selco S.r.l. spare parts, removal of or tampering with the label containing the serial number, use of unsuitable operating materials, accidents or force majeure not depending on Selco S.r.l. (including but not limited to lightning, water, fire, chemical effects, inadequate ventilation and public unrest) or inadequate application of the instructions contained in the technical-explanatory booklet enclosed with the product. The warranty never extends to the obligation to provide compensation for damages, direct and/or indirect, of any type that may have been sustained by persons or things as a consequence of non-operation or any faults or defects encountered in the product.
